Livvo Labs ("Livvo," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to livvolabs.com and the Livvo service, including our SMS messaging program.

1.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use Livvo.

Information you provide:

Name, email address, and mobile phone number
School, sport, graduation year, and other athlete profile details
Information you submit through forms, onboarding questionnaires, or when you contact us
What you write in an introduction thread that Livvo opens for you, by text or on the Livvo website

Information collected automatically:

Basic usage and device information, and cookies or similar technologies on our website

2.How We Use Your Information

Operate and provide the Livvo service, including verifying athlete status
Send you personalized introductions and service-related messages by SMS, where you have opted in
Read the introduction threads Livvo opens, automatically, to tell whether an introduction worked; a member of the Livvo team may read one when it is reported, or for a stated reason that is logged. Livvo never sees texts you send anywhere else
Communicate with you about events, updates, and your account
Improve and develop Livvo, and keep the service secure

3.SMS / Text Messaging Program

Livvo has two text programs, and you opt in to each separately.

Introductions. You opt in inside the Livvo app, after creating an account, by verifying your mobile number and ticking a box that is never pre-checked. Livvo then sends you recurring SMS text messages: a check-in before each introduction, the introduction itself, and the messages relayed between you and the member you are introduced to. What you write in an introduction thread is relayed to the other member with your first name, and Livvo reads these threads automatically to tell whether an introduction worked. A member of the Livvo team may also read a thread when it is reported, or for a stated reason that is logged. Livvo never sees texts you send anywhere else. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Community news and events. The join form offers a separate, optional box for texts about community news and events. Ticking it is not agreement to introductions, and it is kept with your application.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages unless you opt back in. For help, reply HELP or email support@livvolabs.com.

Mobile information is never shared or sold. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as needed to deliver the messaging service (for example, our SMS provider) or as required by law.

4.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in limited ways:

Service providers who help us operate Livvo (such as our SMS provider, hosting, and analytics), under confidentiality obligations
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Livvo and its members
In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy

Mobile opt-in and phone number information is excluded from any sharing with third parties for marketing purposes.

5.Your Choices and Rights

Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, or turn introduction texts off in the app
Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR. Contact us to exercise them.

6.Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and retain it only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. No method of transmission is completely secure.

7.Children's Privacy

Livvo is intended for collegiate athletes and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
